I’m super impressed with this wasm port of the original WipEout leak phoboslab.org/wipegame/

The write up is great too phoboslab.org/log/2023/08/rewr

It rips apart a lot of the code quality, particularly of the later rewrites (see attached screenshot).

It reminds me of their fear lots of hackers voice when being pushed to contribute - that people will laugh at their code. A post like this would see to confirm it.

But - WipEout and its shoddily written successors were wildly successful. 1/2
