Complaining about the state of your country is OK, but mentioning the cause is prohibited.
Ans when someone does happen to mention it, be quick to present "Covid" and "Ukraine" to mock up the argument. As if the rest of the world didnt have the same issues [and survived these crises reasonably well where as the UK is still going down]
This not an exclusive Tory thing, it's a thing for politicians in general and the media in general.
