The shoot went really.well. I can see the sense of the skydraw, lean forward, arch your back and stick your bum out stance. It allows you to engage your lats and muscles all the way down your back to help you draw a heavy bow. It still looks silly. However, it's really hard to unlearn my normal draw cycle though.

I got to shoot some beautiful pacific yew bows that cost a fortune. I think the heaviest one I got to shoot was 120lbs.

The two instructors were excellent and there were some great people taking part too.

I would love to heave a really heavy draw weight long bow but there is nowhere for me to shoot it. Doing a sky draw would get you asked to leave any archery club. Also, even a glass lanimate bow is bloody expensive.
