Yesterday I made a short visit to Porto, got the Stamppass for the Camino de Santiago, which I’m gonna cycle along in the coming days. Porto has a unique style, which I really like. I learned that in the northern part of Portugal there is a lot of rain, coming in waves, like 5 to 10 minutes rain, then no rain, and repeat. So in a way it’s not that bad for me and good for the nature. Forecast says it will be like that for the next couple of days. After I enjoyed a coffee and some gluten-free sweets (first time in Portugal!) I headed out of Porto to stay at the house of one of my friends family. I just stumbled in the celebration of his father’s birthday! Good that I had some sweets as a present. Had a nice evening, they made me feel like home, even if I didn’t know them well… Thank you so much…
