I am lucky to have worked with
PhD student Yilin Zhang for the last two years. She teased apart complicated clouds microphysical processes using measurements and modeling of the 17-O composition of water.

processes like these are of paramount importance in determining the equilibrium sensitivity (how much warming CO2 causes) of models as well as bits of the hydrologic cycle like extreme rain.
