Naze means why.
I'm assuming, person who wrote on the floor, you are not having an existential crisis, but are actually questioning why this street has these differently styled paving slabs spaced out seemingly randomly along the path. Well, I noticed they are always next to trees, so I assume the roots disrupted the pavement and someone tried to even it out again at some point, but for some reason were not able to relay the original bricks. That's my theory, at least.
