I've only ever done assembly code once before, and that was 20 years ago where, as part of a networking course, we spent I think just 1 day learning about PIC programming for an intro to hardware module that was a minor fragment of the course. We didn't even load the code onto the chips ourselves.
This weekend is my first proper stab at it... so of course I'm making my own language and build tools to produce and then compile asm as my hello world project. Welcome to my head 🤷♂️
