Is there a pure #Rust library to open a window on desktop and show a picture? The problem with winit, rust-sdl2, glutin, rust-minifb, and everything using these is that they wrap C libraries, and then cross-compilation becomes almost impossible.
We've been fighting with it for quite a while. At this point, I'm considering making a wasm app and wrapping it into electron or something.
