I'm not sure if I love it or hate it that #GitLab has a secret undocumented API that is (1) easier to use than the public documented API, (2) more capable than the public documented API.
I love that it exists. But I hate that I have to use my browser's developer tools to reverse engineer it. Every time I do, it's like the engineer working on the GitLab frontend thought "the API is bad, I'll just make an ad-hoc API endpoint that works the way it aught to". Just have that be the documented API!
