... at least I tried to recover my 16h print....
I've got a magnetic print bed and removable PEI steel sheet. So I carefully removed the print plate and then did a ALL axis homing of the printer.
Then re-heated the bed and the nozzle, moved the Z-axis high enough so I can put the PEI sheet back on as precisely as possible. Then manually dialled the Z-axis back down to hopefully the right Z-layer and resumed the print after a filament change.
While this could have worked in theory ... I didn't manage to get the filament properly loaded and had to eventually cancel the whole print. With the rest of the filament in the nozzle I saw that I had misplaced the model on the bed by fractions of a millimetre. Might have still worked OKish
