My personal understanding of #Nigeria's future, as I live in a country next door, with heavy interconnections, is that it will explode sooner than later.
There are multiple reasons, besides the economic woes that largely predate the actual governement, some with roots in its colonial history https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colonial_Nigeria
IMHO, Nigeria only holds together because elites in various parts of the country act as warlords and/or drug and oil kingpins, with heavy help of military and police (thugs). 1/2
