I dislike the idea of defederation. Dividing internet (or a social media for that matter) will only create more lack of tolerance.
I find it weird that most people who like this kind of behavior here are in favor of opening countries borders while at the same time are against accepting sharing a virtual space with someone they don’t like.
“Defederation” if that word still applies, should be carried out in a per-user basis and not at server level…
