Today was my friend Ameer’s birthday!

Please help support him and his family by reposting and sharing his survival and evacuation fundraiser: gofund.me/4aefc0aa

Also leave a comment and help boost his post on Insta: instagram.com/p/C7dnZDOtJcK

The photo on the left is of Ameer in a green hoodie, sitting in a coffee shop in Gaza. The photo on the right is a screenshot of the caption of his Instagram post that reads: “@ameer.ahmed98: Today is my birthday 26, and not for a moment did I think that the war would last this long, turning this supposedly good day into the worst day of my life. How is it possible for a person in this world to celebrate his birthday in these massacres committed by the Israeli occupation against civilians? How can a person in this world not be able to think about the memories of last year’s birthday? I have not been born for 26 years. I was born on the first day of the war of genocide against Gaza because this genocide erased all our memories from our minds and changed our lives a lot, but it implanted in us a love for Palestine and our land and made us cling to our rights more than before, and no one can change this. this day is the beginning of a new and different life, but on my birthday I want to remind myself and whole world that Palestine is an idea and bodies fall, but the idea does not die. [Palestine flag emoji] [watermelon emoji] [peace sign emoji]”
