So, I have built up a bit of a relationship with a couple of magpies who have lived in our garden for years. I have been refilling a bucket with freshwater everyday for them to drink & bathe for much of that time. They built a nest in a birdhouse I hung for them last month. Then I heard the thrill chirping of newborn chicks… 1/2
