Good Thursday morning! Another sunny and unseasonably warm day on tap. I've errands to run, but then it's home to make sure the bird bath and feeders stay filled.
Every day more birds arrive that are familiar from summers past. Right on schedule the great crested fly catcher (I know, who named him!) shows up to set up housekeeping in the abandoned wood duck boxes.
I'll know the spring to summer transition is complete when my blue grosbeak appears.
