Port Of Long Beach, California.

A Colour Photo In Landscape Format Showing A Close Up View Of The Stern Of A Berthed Container Ship. The Ship Has A Small But Distinctive List To Starboard. This Is Made More Obvious By The Horizontal Boom Of The Gantry Crane That Stretches Out Over The Ship. The Vessel Is The OOCL SHENZHEN (Orient Overseas Container Line) And She Is Moored In The Long Beach Container Terminal. Visible On The Ships Stern Are The Numerous Mooring Lines Stretching To Bollards On The Shore. Above The Lines Are The Rows Of Stacked Shipping Containers, 17 Containers Arranged Across From Port To Starboard Across Her 42,8 Metre Beam. To The Side We Can See A Few Of The Gantry Cranes That Are Lifting The Container From The Ship To Shore And Vice Versa. On The Dockside Under The Cranes We Can See A Few Containers On Trailers. These Look Tiny Compared To The Size Of The Ship.
