I reckon 'Pro Xristou' by Rotting Christ might end up in my Top 10 for the year.
Lots of great music this year.
Album cover for 'Pro Xristou' by Rotting Christ. A painted image depicting an ancient civilisation (perhaps Greece) in chaos. Lots of people running around, fighting, killing each other, pushing people into the ocean. Prominent on one side is a large statue of an athlete holding a shield outstretched in one arm, but the head has been removed. Update: It's 'Destruction' by Thomas Cole, no. 4 in The Course of Empire series. So a depiction of the fall of Rome.
