Popped over to Kirkby Mallory to get the bells ready for a wedding. Whilst there found a bird in the tower that had got in through a hole in some chicken wire.

So I opened up the roof hatch and it went out straight away.

Whilst I was there, I took a quick picture looking at the view out the top of the tower.

Slight to the right of the picture you can see the chancel roof with a cross on the far end and the churchyard beyond. There are tall trees all around in full leaf, behind which you can see a few fields and hills.
