I worked in the broadcast booth with Bob Costas for the 1997 ALDS as runner. Bringing the announcers stats, drinks, faxes etc

7th inning stretch Bob Costas called his kid(s?) and read them a quick bedtime story, and then told them that if they were good they could stay up until the end of the game.

I worked with a lot of the big names of the era, and the less said about some, the better. But Costas was a class act, and I always remember that little moment
