New Knitters. If you have a yarn that is "hairy" or inclined to stick to itself, DO NOT WRAP the yarn so that you can pull from the center.
I REPEAT: There are sticks that allow you to create balls of yarn so that u can pull from the inside of the ball. DO NOT USE THEM FOR THIS TYPE OF YARN.
The yarn will knot inside the ball and tear it apart. You will have to untangle the ball *every time* this occurs before you can continue knitting.
