_The Evening Post_, 21 May 1924:
WOMEN IN PRINT.

Bryant and May, Bell and Co., held their first series of social evenings last Monday. The social hall of the new building was well filled with employees and friends. The directors presented them with a piano and gramophone, to be used for social purposes. Great credit is due to the following friends, who assisted in making the evening such a success: Dixie Jazz Boys, Mr. W. Beer, Ross Williams, Miss R. Hodge, Mr. Len Mitchell, Messrs. Williams and Sandbrook, Miss E. Sullivan, Miss Beer. Supper and a dance followed the programme. The evening was a most successful one.
