So yesterday my Logitech „MX Master 2S“ died. So I was finally able to justify to buy the „MX Master 3 for Mac“.
The sound is a really nice upgrade, because it basically is silent. The side buttons are also way better.
‼️ BUT ‼️
Honestly, Logitech, what were you thinking?
Why is that mouse not able to use the „Unifying receiver“?
It can either connect using Bluetooth or the „Bolt receiver“.

Since I’m swapping my devices while in Homeoffice - I don’t want to switch the channels on my keyboard or mouse. I want a receiver plugged in my monitor/hub and whatever device is connected should use the attached peripherals.
Since the mouse is really awesome and I love my „MX Keys for Mac“ I gave up and bought a „Bolt receiver“ as well.
👉 If you don’t want to spend that extra money (or don’t have free USB A-slots), it is probably better to buy a different mouse.
