I’m giving it 9 months tops before LLMs start doing paid mentions regardless of prompt. There will be no way to opt out. Every company using the OpenAI API will become an advertising outlet, overnight, against their will. Consumers will find out the dedicated onboard neural chips they’ve been aggressively sold in cutting-edge laptops and phones are actually advertising engines. Apple products may be the only exception.
