Going in to The Bad Batch, I definitely didn't expect it to be one of the most emotionally poignant and meaningful pieces of the Star Wars canon but finishing the last episode that's exactly how I feel.
For a somewhat kid-oriented show it had a lot of adult things to say about choice and purpose, courage, responsibility, loss and trauma. Most of all, family.
Unlike so much of Disney's Star Wars media this show had a heart and soul and they managed to give us an ending the story deserved.
