Currently bothered by a recent rant against software inefficiency on Hacker News: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=37602342 Basically more of the same, but it's got me feeling guilty again about using Electron in one of my company's products. Do I have an obligation to rewrite that app in something else in my spare time, since it's never going to make economic sense to do so? Or is the problem of bloat/inefficiency overblown in places like HN? Obviously I'd like to believe the latter, but these rants do resonate.
