I remember when Borderlands 2 dropped the Mechromancer DLC, whose skill tree gives a ton of bonuses for "never reloads" and "misses shots" and "lets the AI summon do the actual work." People (mostly the worst people) thought it was for babies and newbs. But playing it on the console with the worst possible thumbsticks (i.e., the Switch), I'm honestly having a blast.
