- #Dart is getting macros! 🎉🎉🎉 This is huge. The clunkiest part of Dart for years now has been its reliance on out-of-process code generation for things like JSON, ORM, and reflection in general (which has been dead in the water since Dart 3). Macros run during static analysis and enable instant code generation, with hassle-free class augmentation and reflection. Hooray!
This is all under an experimental flag for now, but it’s coming. 🚊
