Got an idea for a cleaner NAS migration plan: Buy two new disks, as planned, put them in the NAS as JBOD/RAID0, copy data onto them, transfer the old disks to the NAS as raidz2/raid6, transfer the data *inside the NAS* and later add the two new disks to the new array.
