Urteil des EU-Gerichts (GHdEU): EU-Parlament muss Dokumente zu griechischem Neonazi-Abgeordnetem offenlegen
Der griechische Neonazi Ioannis Lagos verbüßt derzeit wegen der Bildung einer kriminellen Vereinigung auch eine 13-jährige Gefängnisstrafe in Griechenland. Gleichzeitig ist er aber auch gewählter EU-Abgeordneter. Da er weiter Abgeordneter ist, hat er auch Zugriff auf Geldtöpfe. Wie Lagos die Staatsgelder verwendet, ist bisher unbekannt. Das EU-Parlament verweigerte dazu jegliche Auskünfte.
